This Privacy Policy explains how the Clermont Bruins Fastpitch team app collects, uses, and protects information for approved team members. The app is a private team-management and player-development service operated for the team.
Information we handle
Depending on the features used, the app may handle a member's name, email address, account and role, parent-player relationship, player profile details, jersey number, positions, handedness, age or height, practice evaluations, training progress, notes, duties, walk-up audio, and videos uploaded for private coaching review.
Google Sign-In
If you choose Google Sign-In, we receive basic account identity information provided by Google, such as your name, email address, and an account identifier. We use it only to find or create your approved team account, authenticate your sign-in, keep team content private, and apply the correct coach, parent, or player permissions. We do not sell Google account data, use it for advertising, or use it to build a public profile. Google processes sign-in information under its own privacy policy.
How we use information
We use this information to provide private team access, organize practices and game-day duties, show a player or parent the information they are authorized to see, help coaches track development, deliver account messages, and operate requested coaching tools. Player scores and private coaching notes are restricted to authorized coaches and administrators.
Children and parent access
The team includes minors. Player accounts and player media should be created or approved by a parent or authorized coach. Parents are given access only to the player or players connected to their account. Player profiles are not intended to be public, and the app uses privacy-safe display names in team-facing lists.
Service providers and external links
The app uses trusted providers to host the application, store data and uploaded media, authenticate accounts, send email, and process optional coaching analysis. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services. Optional training links may open YouTube or another third-party website; those services have their own privacy policies and controls.
AI-assisted coaching
If a coach chooses to request video analysis, the submitted video and associated coaching context may be processed by an AI service to generate coaching suggestions. AI suggestions are educational support, not medical, recruiting, scouting, or professional evaluation, and a coach should review them before sharing them with a player.
Security and retention
Access is protected by account authentication, team membership checks, role-based permissions, and private storage controls. Coaches and administrators should not upload media without the required parent or guardian permission. We retain team records only for team operations and authorized development purposes, and authorized coaches or administrators may request correction or deletion of information that is no longer needed.
